Welcome to the VUWTC website! VUWTC is one of the busiest, largest and most exciting clubs on campus. There is a huge amount of exciting pursuits lined up to distract you from your studies and work!

Meetings
Over summer, our meetings are held every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Welsh Dragon. Located on the middle of Cambridge Terrace & Kent Terrace it is a groovy little pub. Come along and have a beer to find out what's going on! See also membership information.

Staying informed
This website is our central form of communication. Sign up to the website following the instructions.  To stay informed on all of the exciting things going on and coming up, it is best that you set yourself up so that you get email alerts so that you don’t miss out on anything!

Trip Reports
We need your trip report!!  The club has 2 types of publications, Baaa and Heels, which report on the activities of the club throughout the year.  Trip reports are the basis of these magazines and we need your support to ensure that they’re awesome this year.  We’ll even bribe you to write a trip report!  So get scrawling and publish it on the trip reports page (or send it to a publicity officer) and head along to a meeting to collect your chocolate bar.  If you want to see what other people have written check out the Trip Reports page.

Climbing
Want to climb stuff? You have come to the right place. Not only does VUWTC like to walk on stuff, float down stuff, ride down stuff and fall down stuff but we particularly like to climb stuff. We often climb at Fergs, chuck in a bit of boldering. Do a bit of outdoor in the weekend. Climb un-climbable waterfalls (no longer un-climbable) when we should be working. When it is cold enough and we are daring enough we have been known to climb some of that ice stuff. So if you want to climb, find out more about climbing or have something to teach us about climbing, come along! We climb at Fergs on Wednesday nights after 5.30pm (discount with membership card $5 Wednesdays $8 all other times)  As well as all this stuff there are a variety of trips that go away in the weekends.
