    Maungahuka trip this weekend

    Hello all!

The Maungahuka tramping trip is on this weekend and it is going to be a great tramping weekend.  By the weekend the snow will have stopped and the sun will be out.  While the main feature of the this weekend is going to Manungahuka I will be organising some other trips to complement it.  There will be trips for all levels from Easy to Medium fit.  So the plans will be:

    • Maungahuka (Medium to Medium fit)
    • Sothern Tararuas (Easy)
    • Day trip Wellington or Sothern Tararuas (Easy to Medium easy)
    • Central north island (somewhere in the snow- experience required)

Sign up sheets will be at the meeting on Tuesday or if you can't make it  - get in touch with me

    Craig

    Trips summary this weekend

Here is a quick rundown of what we are planning for this weekend, if you want to get onto one of these trips let me know there is still space!

    Day trip – Saturday

    Belmont Regional Park

Contact me for more information or to sign up 021 04 00 989

    Easy tramping– All weekend

This is planned for the southern Tararuas

Contact me for more information or to sign up 021 04 00 989

    Medium tramping– all weekend

This was originally going to be the Manugahuka loop and it looks like Manoel is still going there :) There large amounts of snow means that it would  be difficult to get there without digging a trench or ski touring!  So the plan for this trip is going to be northern tararuas, Ruahines or central north island – There could be two different trips but where ever it goes and what ever happens it will be a lot of fun

    Climbing

Looks like this will be on Saturday and to Baring head
