    Guy forks!

    Guy forks!

Guy forks is on this Wednesday and I am wonder if anyone is keen to do something to celebrate one of the best days of the year?

It would be good to get a herd of people together to celebrate this event in one way or another.

    Who is keen?

    Re: Guy forks!

hello craig, I believe the correct spelling of his name is "Fawkes" not "forks" a fork is a utensil that you eat with.

    Re: Guy forks!

Theres a lot of festivities, live bands, jetski / wakeboarding displays, rides, and obviously fireworks at down at the water front from 6pm. Fireworks at 9pm. Crowds expected to be very large. I'm going along, but wondering about view the display at 9pm from elsewhere, maybe Kelburn park since it's only 15 mins from the waterfront.

    Re: Guy forks!

Thanks Sam you are a pillar of wisdom.  But what I actually meant was Guy Spoons.  So if any one is keen for Guy Spoons let me know.  Sorry about the typo wrong piece of cutlery.

    Re: Guy forks!

I'll be going climbing after work and then wander about to find a decent vantage point somewhere (maybe part way up Mt Vic). Then there is a vague plan to go get some food and 2 for 1 cocktails at Chow, let me know if you are keen, we might try to book a table as it'll no doubt be busy with the guy fawkes (forks?) crowds...

    Re: Guy spoons (fawkes)!

So the plan for if you are not going climbing.  As you know there is quite a bit of stuff going on tonight on the water front

So we are meeting at Andrew’s work or near by at 5:00pm tonight.  Then we will go and partake in the festivities including the tug boat ride and watch the fireworks at 9:00ish or whenever it is happeing

So if you are keen send me a email and I will give you directions to our meeting zone.
