Party this saturday - blue moon

This Saturday I am having a party to celebrate me turning one year older.  The theme is blue moon.  Yes a strange theme really.  A blue moon is where there is 2 full moons in a month.  And it is happening this month with the second full moon of the month being on Saturday January the 30th – the same day as this party. Blue moons are not very common so that is where the saying, once in a blue moon comes from.  So come as something you would not normally come as, a star from a jazzisize video, your mum, yogy bear, a moon or paint your rear end blue

It is a BBQ starting from 6pm Saturday the 30th followed by beverage consumption.

    The address is

    139 Heke Street

    Ngaio

    See you all there

    Blue moon: "an astronomical phenomenon"

Blue Moon / You saw me standing alone / Without a dream in my heart / Without a
love of my own / Blue Moon / You know just what I was there for ...

Things that happen once in a blue moon:

    • Craig turns 28
    • The tramping club has a party (not!)
    • Looking forward to Monday
    • Finding 5 bucks hidden somewhere in your wallet
    • You dress up as an actual moon
    • Everyone brings sauce and no one brings bread
    • Aliens, pirates, cross-dressers, or David Bain look-alikes attend a vuwtc party
    • Craig's birthday presents are not sourced from the tip shop
    • EVERYBODY comes in costume

Re: Party this saturday - blue moon

Hey do you know what bus I catch to get to Ngaio this sat'?

The last bus goes back to Brooklyn at 11.07 pm and I'm on a tight budget ATM as my childcare job doesn't start back up till early febuary so its to expensive for me to taxi home. I was wondering would it be o.k if I brought my tramping club matress and sleeping bag and crashed somewhere in your flat?

If you say 'no' though thats completely fine - it'll just mean I leave early so will catch the last bus :-).

Hi Miri, you can find the bus and train timetables on www.metlink.org.nz

It is all good for people to stay at my place the night.  Come drink. Be merry and find your way home the next day.  At the moment we have 2 free bedrooms and even a spare bed.  There is some bedding around but I would recomend bringing a sleeping bag if you have one.

If you do need to get home, no doubt there will be people driving.

Hey does anyone know how I change my photo on my VUWTC website profile?  I've spent ages trying to figure it out and can't.  I'm not very computer literate.  Miri
