Ciao Katie
The Reel Earth Film Festival (Nov 20 - 26), featuring films from New Zealand and across the world, spans a diverse range of themes including natural history, environmental and social justice, energy, community action, and sustainable resource use.
This November, the Wellington Branch of Forest and Bird are hosting the Reel Earth Film Festival at The Paramount, Courtenay Place.
Reel Earth has something for everyone - from the ever topical debate around where our energy comes from, to the dilemma of managing introduced species, whale strandings, and the impact our changing climate is having on the world’s animal and plant life.
It features stunning photography, and bit of humour, and a lot of inspirational people whose actions are making a difference to their corner of the world. The Reel Earth Environmental Film Festival is in its fourth season and has been incredibly successful all over New Zealand from its home town in Palmerston North to the Far North and down to Otago. The Wellington Festival features talks from local experts – see the programme for more details.
