    Cocktails for Jess's 21st anyone?

Hello I am attempting to piece together some Saturday night activity that involves drinking and for Jess's  21st so it may be a call to celebrate!!!

This is all very un organised at this stage and I can envisage that it will morph and give birth to something marvellous.

    The concept

I do have a vague concept

Previously we have had monumental cocktail nights.  These have been great successes and have been a mighty amount of fun.  These previous cocktail nights have been organised with military (haha) like precision where every one has paid up front and we have gone out and brought all that is needed for the occasion.

This one may be a bit more loose and a bit more of a gathering of people than a cocktail night.

    The plan

    • Everyone turns up at the venue (yet to be found) with cash (~ $15)
    • We shoot down and buy supplies
    • We consume supplies
    • We have a mighty good time

It could become a beer and pizza and movie night but all and all it will be horrendous fun

    What I need

    • People
    • A venue
    • Some excitement
    • A drink (or 10)

So if you are interested, enthusiastic, can provide a venue or help with some organisation… Please by all means let me know.  I will formulate more later.

Hey hey, we now have a plan!

Cocktails will be combined with 21st bday celebrations for Jess - an excellent combination I think! Here are the details you need to know:

    When:
    7.30pm Saturday night

    Where:
91A Karepa Street, Brooklyn (aka The Coolest Flat in Brooklyn)

If you haven't been there yet, just make your way to brooklyn (number 7 bus) and follow the signs to the wind turbine until you hit Karepa st. Or go with someone who knows the way...

Craig says sober drivers are not allowed - not that hes advocating drunk drivers I'm sure, just that your welcome to bring a sleeping bag and crash on our couches :)

    What you need to bring:
Basically contribute $15 for the cocktails - either:
    a) turn up at the Mill (bottlestore) on Tory/Abel Smith St at 7pm to buy stuff.
    b) bring something from the list below to value of $15
    c) bring cash (let me or craig know asap so can budget for it)

We're planning tropical fruity cocktails. Stuff we'll need is:
    Vodka
    Melon Liqoure
    Strawberry Liqoure
    Blue Caruso Liqoure
    Triple Sec Liqoure

    Pineapple juice
    Orange juice
    Lime cordial
    Lemon cordial

If your gonna bring one of the above, reply to this post so we don't double up too much.

And if someone wants to bake a cake they're welcome!

Cheers, should be an awesome night!
    Kieran

Ps rumour has it that Jess is keen for 21 shots, so could be an amusing night :) Don't miss it!

Yes, Melon is Midori - Midori is an expensive brand name - But nice if anyone is feeling generous. Midori also do Blue Caruso

Yep feel free to bring anything that goes with the above...

Creativity is to be encouraged and secret recipes sound positively dangerous! Bring it on

Here is a map on how to get there.

Here is a diagram of how to get up the tricky garden path... Basicly go up the driveway, walk up some stairs in between two houses then follow the path
