New North Ohau hut built with help from Swazi and the Horowhenua Hunting club. Situated on a terrace up the North Ohau river.

Camping: Yes there is some good camping on flats below the hut terrace
Was there Oct 2007. Yes there is excellent wood stove. Important to plan for escape route or staying put should river rise as the boludery, gorgy part of the North Ohau would be impassable if it rose or became discoloured. Lovely cosy hut.
