Subsidised Outdoor First Aid Course (sign-ups close 17 August)

The club is subsidising 20 people to go on a one-and-a-half day outdoor first aid course, run by Triple One Care.

Subsidised cost is $10 per person (usual cost is around $150 or higher).

Course is one and a half days. 
21st September: 9am to approx. 5:30pm
22nd September: 9am to approx. 1:30pm

Location: SU229 (Memorial Theatre Foyer), Student Union Building, VUW Kelburn Campus

This trip is not first-come first-served. We will choose participants based on past and future club involvement. We want this course to benefit you, but we also want it to benefit the club - e.g. if you go on a lot of club trips, giving you first aid skills would be beneficial; if you will share your knowledge with other club members, that would also be beneficial. 

We will need some people to share what they have learned at the club meeting at 6pm Tuesday 24 September or Tuesday 1 October (we can negotiate what works best). Ideally you would do an interactive session of some kind. 

Generally, you are not eligible for a subsidy if the club subsidised you on a first aid course last year. However, we may send one person who did the course last year to get a comparison between the two different course providers. 

Sign-ups close 17 August. I will aim to pick people by 24 August.
