CVNZ Conso Event - Weed Blitz at Mākara Peak! 🌿

Come along to a fun conservation event with a great community spirit, CVNZ are great at these!:

"Enjoy a day in the hills of Makara Peak, working alongside the park rangers helping to control invasive weeds. These smother native plants, prevent native forest regeneration, and can pose a serious risk to the health of people and wildlife. Our team provides a great experience by sharing our knowledge of conservation and skills to tackle outdoor challenges, which can be useful for your own home/gardens.

Tools/gloves/vests all provided, also bonus morning tea! Please bring long sleeved clothing, a hat, waterproof jacket, sturdy/covered footwear, packed lunch, and a full water bottle.

Volunteers are welcome to meet our team onsite, or get a ride in our CVNZ van. *We can transport up to 9 people, please contact our office at: wellington@cvnz.org.nz or call 021 057 1370 to check our availability as we have limited seats.*"
