Sign up to be a leader on Freshers!

Kia ora! We are looking for about 20 leaders for Freshers - our largest and most social tramp of the year. We'll be taking 120 people of varying experience into the bush, so we need some vaguely compenent leaders to keep them safe!

You don't need to have been super involved in the club before, or be a hardcore tramper. We're keen to hear from anyone who can be organised and friendly - and of course the committee will be there to support you.

You'll be paired up with another leader, and together you'll need to:

• Look out for the 10 or so members of your group throughout the tramp - get them going in the mornings, check on how they're doing during the day, check that they are there at each of the campsites, etc
• Buy ingredients and prepare two breakfasts and one dinner for the group (we can give you some ideas)
• Attend the 'leader briefing' meeting at 5pm on Tuesday 25th February and of course the Freshers tramp from 4:30pm Friday 7th March to the evening of Sunday 9th March
• Generally facilitate good vibes - have lots of chats, help your group to get to know each other
