Hut Cleanup Squad 💪🛖 + a pretty swimming hole 🏊

Keen for a chill day walk, a nice swim, and to see a New Zealand outdoor hut? We'll be doing it all here!

You may have read about or visited some of New Zealand's awesome backcountry huts. We'll be visiting a nice one called Haurangi hut and doing a simple cleanup to improve the experiences of future visitors. We've been trusted to do this by DOC and the Federated Mountain Clubs! 

To reach the hut it's a 45min drive from Wellington, then a pleasant 2.5 hour walk (one way). We'll stop first at a beautiful swimming spot, before doing some basic cleaning and note taking about the hut. Overall the walk will be 5 hours.
