"WORLD'S BEST BALL IN NEW ZEALAND'S FINEST BUSH"
"LIKE A SCHOOL FORMAL, BUT IT'S VUWTC AND YOU'RE IN THE BUSH"

VUWTC cordially invites you to join for a big ole' Ball, deep in the bush. 

It will involve an easy-ish (very doable, but the track is called 'The Puffer') 3 hour walk into the Tararuas. We'll all camp here overnight wherever we can find spots, and have a dance party!! It will include costumes, sing alongs, full sound and fancy flashing lights.

If that doesn't tickle your fancy, there will also be a bonfire to sit and chit chat :)

The location will also be by a lovely river. It's great for a swim the morning after, but keep in mind that there will be a bus waiting for us in the afternoon!

You will need to bring: 

• Tent (limited club supply - bring own if possible),

• Sleeping mat

• Sleeping bag

• Head torch 

• Warm and rainproof layers, walking shoes/boots

• A killer costume (theme TBA)

• Food to sustain you for 24 hours (We will not be providing meals). This is 1x breakfast, 2x lunch and 1x dinner. 

• Bevereges of your choice - no glass. Please carry your own empties out the next day. 

Where and when to meet?

11:30 Saturday, at the Hunter Carpark, VUW. The coach will be leaving at 12pm so don't be late!

A bus will whisk you to the start of the track, and back again on Sunday afternoon. 

Cost: $20 (to cover transport, some walking refreshments, and other gear to enable *the biggest party ever*)
