Jumbo Hut (Postponed, need cars!)

An overnighter to Jumbo hut on Friday July 1st (Friday instead of Saturday to secure spots in the hut, Monday would also work).
Since Powell hut is out-of-commission thanks to a lightening strike, let's do a slightly steeper trip to its little cousin, Jumbo hut!

I don't personally have a car, so we'll need at least one car for a group of 4, or two cars for a group of 8.

This trip has been postponed to the new date shown since we wern't able to get any cars for the previous date.

Jumbo hut requires bookings ($15 per person) but since we are aiming for the Friday we'll have no issues getting spots.
Please don't make any bookings until the trip is fully confirmed and we know exactly who's going!

Starting from Holdsworth roadend, we'll be heading up to Jumbo hut via Atiwhakatu hut and Raingauge spur. We will return back the same way.

This route is a little more grunty than the walk up to Powell, and involves a pretty steep climb.
Raingauge spur is over 600m of non-stop uphill so make sure you are fit enough for that.
We won't be in much of a hurry though so we can take it slow.

We will also have a go at visiting Jumbo summit if the weather is good, or maybe even Angel Knob if we're feeling ambitious and have time.
No snow experience is required, if there is heavy snow we won't go beyond the hut.

Times are:
Holdsworth Road end -> Atiwhakatu hut (2-3hrs)
Atiwhakatu hut -> Jumbo hut (2 hrs)

Bonus trip if we have time:
Jumbo hut -> Jumbo summit (1 hr return)
Jumbo summit -> Angel Knob (2 hrs return)
