Picture Ira, gleefully laughing as he photoshops Lilly's face onto Queen Elizabeth I. Now picture 15 photos of this calibre lining the walls of the one and only Smith's Creek - tropolitan Museum of Art.
The morning arrived and, even with a world record 48 pikers, 68 of VUWTC's finest-dressed celebrities piled onto the bus blissfully unaware of the night that awaited them.
Meanwhile, the setup crew (comprised of Justin, with a heart problem (carrying 6L of goon), Harry, with a knee problem, and 5 of our finest) slogged their way over the puffer and descended on Smith's Creek with dreams of grandeur 8km and 2 amp smashes later (Thanks Chris).
The art was up, the red carpet was rolled out, and the shrine to Lewis was lit. It was time for the guests to put on a show, and boy did they put on a show. And so the night began. A night of dancing, a night of singing. For some, a night in the bush hunting the possums threatening the campsite. For many, a night in the bush hunting... not possums. A night of unskippable Byzantine hymns, a night of 'Driver's Licence' coming on right after you had gone to bed.
A night that will be remembered by many for years to come, and for some not even the morning after
